What is Hanging Weight?
Hanging weight is the weight of the animal after harvest and before final cutting and trimming. Your final packaged beef weight will be lower because bones, excess fat, and trim are removed during processing. On average, customers take home approximately 60-70% of the hanging weight depending on cut selections.
No Surprise Pricing
We use estimated maximum hanging weights so you know the highest expected cost before processing begins. If your beef weighs less, you pay less.
Half Beef Deposit
Reserve Your Order: A deposit is required at the time your order is placed. The remaining balance will be due before delivery or pickup.
Order Confirmation: Once a deposit is received, our team will contact you to finalize your order details and answer any questions about the process.
Aging & Processing: We age our beef for 14 days as our standard to help maximize tenderness and flavor before cutting, packaging, and freezing.
Turnaround Time: Most orders are completed approximately 4 weeks after your deposit is received.
Delivery Information: We offer free delivery within 30 miles of Grand Bay, Alabama. Deliveries beyond 30 miles may incur additional mileage charge.
